Yorkshire Moors Heather Soap

The heather is gathered on the North York Moors and then boiled into a rich dark infusion which is used to make the lye, I add ylang ylang for a sweet scent.  One can also drink heather tea at home, a perfectly delightful beverage, just simmer some stalks and flowering tops for half an hour or more, then drink, an old tea good for aches and pains.

Ingredients:  Argania spinosa oil*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil , Lye/NAOH, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, Columbian sustainable fairtrade Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil *, Carnauba Wax*, Theobroma Cacao (cocoa butter)*, Calluna vulgaris, Cananga odorata (Ylangylang) & Cedrus atlantica (Cedarwood) essential oils.**   *organic  **Benzyl alcohol, eugenol , iso eugenol, benzyl salicylate, geraniol, farnesol, linalool, benzyl benzoate.
